An iconic Singapore destination, Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spreading in 101 hectares (approx. 250 acres) of reclaimed land in the Central Region of Singapore, adjoin to the Marina Reservoir. It is undoubtedly at the top of every visitor’s itinerary to the city. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay East Garden (in Marina East), Bay South Garden (in Marina South) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). Then, step into the awe of nature Flower Dome, it is spectacular and innovative. Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in the 2015 Guinness World Records! The gardens is designed by Grant Associates. Gardens by the Bay is part of the nation’s plans to transform its “Garden City” to a “City in a Garden”, with the aim to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. It was intended to be Singapore’s national icon and premier urban outdoor recreation space.
